Teens 100 Levels (A1 Beginner)
Spring25 - Teens 101 (A1) - Part 3
General French Teens (13-17)
The first year of the Teens 100 (A1) beginner program for 13-17 year olds.
For three quarters, along with the textbook and workbook A la Une 1 and various action-oriented and creative activities, students will learn to construct simple phrases in French. Topics related to everyday life will allow students to introduce themselves and others, to describe their environment, and to express their feelings and preferences.

Prerequisite: none for Part 1. If you wish to start at Part 2 or 3, you will need to take our placement test, followed by an oral assessment with our Admissions Coordinator.
Next course: After completing Part 1 (FALL), 2 (WINTER) and 3 (SPRING) of Teens 101, students can enroll in Teens 102 in the following academic year.
Pace: Regular, 10 weeks, 1h once a week, total of 10h

Our new summer French program for Teens!
Continue your learning in and out of the classroom with French games, activities, and real-life conversations. Classes are held at our location in the Good Shepherd Center, with the opportunity for students to enjoy Meridian Park and community garden. Get involved and connect with peers this Summer in our half-day teen program!
Prerequisite: having finished Teens A1, part 3 or currently enrolled in A2 level.
Pace: 1 week, 2.5h/day, total of 12.5h

Spring25 - Teens 301 (A2/B1) - Part 3
General French Teens (13-17)
This is the first year of the Teens 300 (A2/B1) program for 13-17 year olds. For students who have finished the entire Teens 200 (A1/A2) level (201, 202, 203) and are comfortable interacting in French and discussing their present, past and future.
For three quarters, along with the textbook and workbook A la Une 3 and various action-oriented and creative activities, students will be able to have a conversation in French through topics related to their everyday life, their past travels and future plans. Students will broaden their vocabulary and strengthen the use of the present, future and past tenses. All activities are conducted mainly in French with an immersive approach.

Prerequisite: To start at Part 1, we require a 301 result at our placement test, or having completed Teens 203. If you wish to start at Part 2 or 3, you will need a Teens 301 result at our placement test, followed by an oral assessment with our Admissions Coordinator.
